Helen Mason's Obituary
Helen R. Mason, 94, went to be with the Lord, August 31, 2015 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born May 24, 1921 in Kelbourne, Wisconsin, the daughter of Frank and Mary Droste.
A loving wife, mother, and homemaker, she was a member of the Pentecostal Faith. She could be found cooking, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and watching television with her family.
On June 5, 1939 she married Jack J. Mason. He preceded her in death January 10, 2003.
Other survivors include 2 sons, Duffy and Terry Mason; 2 daughters, Penny Sandberg and Sally Joles; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 great granddaughter.
A gathering for friends will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 8:30 - 10:30 am at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Lyons Cemetery, Lyons, Kansas.
