Helen L. Pleasant, 92, passed away April 1, 2016 at Good Samaritan Living Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. The daughter of Eugene and Ida Gould, she was born in DuQuain, Kansas on July 23, 1923. She was a retired restaurant waitress.

She loved growing fresh vegetables in her garden and enjoyed traditional country and western music.

She married Harley L. Pleasant on August 12, 1967. He preceded her in death. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, and 5 sisters.

A gathering for for family and friends will be Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. Graveside celebration will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 10:30 am at Fairlawn Burial Park.
