Helene Petra Cammarn, 62, of South Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away April 11, 2020 at her home in South Hutchinson, Kansas.  The daughter of Troy and Martha Thixton, she was born on May 22, 1957 in Worth am Main, Germany.

Besides taking care of her family, she also worked as a Certified Nurses Aide for several nursing homes.  She loved to work on arts and crafts, ceramics, and sewing.  She enjoyed the outdoors, especially  fishing, and was an avid bingo player.  She was also known for her fabulous homemade chicken and noodles.  She was a wonderful wife, loving daughter, doting mother and grandmother, and friend to so many.

In 1984, Helene married Richard Cammarn and he survives of the home.

Survivors include: her husband, Richard ; her mother, Martha; 2 daughters, Ginger ( Matthew) Dingman and Geneva Sims; 2 brothers, Eric and Charlie Thixton; 7 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father.

A celebration of life will be held after cremation and will be announced at a later date.  Memorial gifts may be made to the Helene Cammarn Family Memorial Fund and may be sent to 308 E. Carpenter Street, Hutchinson, Kansas.
