Ida House was born May 16, 1939, in Oakley, Idaho and entered into heaven November 17, 2021 in Salina, Kansas. Ida was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda House; son-in-law, Gary Williams; parents, Ernest and Thora Rouse; two brothers, Robert and Theron Rouse and sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Carl Owens. Survivors include, sister, Loma Pulec and sister-in-law, Joyce Rouse; three daughters, Debra Williams, Coleene (Robert) Dauer, Renee (Kevin) Rairden; son, Bruce House; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Ida House graduated in 1982 as a nursing assistant at Salina Vocational Technical School. She also graduated from Marymount College in 1989 with a Bachelors of Science degree. Her passion was to be an addiction counselor to help others with their struggles. The greatest moments of her life were experiencing the joys of being a grandma. A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, December 9 ,2021, at Crossroads Church, 1125 W. South St.
