Iva Melvene Duncan, 74, died November 12, 2012 in Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born in Commerce, Oklahoma on December 15, 1937 to Melvin and Dorothy (Booth) Knight.

She married Lee Duncan on April 27, 1956 in Valley Center, KS, he survives. Other survivors are sons, Tony (Mary), Terry, Dick Griffin; daughters, Janet Herrell, Sandy (Brad) Norris, Tracy Harman; brothers, Melvin Knight, Howard Knight; sisters, Peggy North, Earlene Rector, Virgie Freeman; eighteen grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Visitation is Friday from 4 - 8 pm with the family present from 5-8. A chapel service will take place Saturday at 1 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Hospice of Reno County, 1600 N Lorraine, Ste. 203, Hutchinson, Ks. 67501. Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
