On Saturday, November 9, 2019, Jack Byers, passed away at the age of 73.

Jack was born on October 3, 1946 in Wichita, Ks to Jack and Dean (French) Byers.  He grew up in Augusta, Kansas.  He had four children, Jackie, Jason, Kimberly, & Scott and was extremely proud of each of them.

Jack was best known for his infectious smile, his unforgettable laugh and how passionate he was about cars and motorcycles.  Always the salesman, his mother used to say " He (Jack) could sell refrigerators to Eskimos!"  On the weekends you could always find him at a local Drag Strip, fixing an ol'junker in the garage, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday's.  Jack loved to dance, and called himself a " mean pool player" even though he had a heart bigger than Texas !  He will be deeply missed!

Jack was preceded in death by his father, Jack and his mother, Dean.

He is survived by his four children; Jackie of Tulsa, OK; Jason, Scott, Kimberly and husband, Carlos of Hutchinson, Ks; his 6 grandchildren, his sisters; Elaine and husband Jack of Augusta, Ks; Vicki of Dallas, TX and Kathy and husband, Ray of Augusta, Ks and his brother Rick of Wichita, Ks and several cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.  at The Father's House, 1520 East 20th, Hutchinson, Kansas.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.   Cards of condolences may be left at www.OMHFH.com
