Jack L. Keazer, 80, passed away with his loving family by his side on April 11, 2018 at St. Francis – Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on July 20, 1937, the son of Herbert Billings and Elvira May Keazer. He was a retired shift supervisor for Republic Paperboard.
A member of St. Paul Catholic Church, he was an avid golfer, and loved to spend time camping and fishing. He was fascinated with reading all types of novels and stories, and loved ALL dogs. He was devoted to his family as husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather – they took precedence everyday of his life.
He married Carolee Helen Rundell on October 6, 1956 in Newton, Kansas. She preceded him in death on May 20, 2014.
Surviving members of the family include: 3 sons, Bill (Jill) Keazer, Bob (Kitty) Keazer, Jim (Debra) Keazer; 1 daughter, Karen (Dan) McClintock; 1 daughter in law, Anne Logan; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolee; 1 son, Tom; 1 grandson, Bradley; 1 granddaughter, Melissa.
A gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. A graveside celebration of life will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11:00 am at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Boulevard, Hutchinson, Kansas with Father John Hotze presiding.
