Jackie was born February 3, 1953, in Cass Lake, Minnesota on the Leech Lake Indian Reservation. Her parents, Jack D. Eder and Martha Cora Escarcego were visiting that reservation at the time of her birth. Jackie was a fully enrolled tribal member of the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. Jackie met and married Robert Bacon in Chicago, Illinois in 1972. Throughout her lifetime, Jackie was always reading books and had an unfathomable amount of knowledge. She loved living close to nature and always kept cats and kittens. She also enjoyed her pet rooster and goat. Jackie is preceded in death by her father, Jack Diven Eder; mother, Martha Cora Escarego; sister, Minnie Pearl Eder (Two Shoes); brother, Martin Dale Eder and her son, John Paul Haynes. She is survived by her sisters, Marlee Eder, Marie Knowles and Margaret Eder; two daughters, Deana Marie Bacon and Patricia Margaret Bacon Olive; six grandchildren, Evina Griffin, Dvon Griffin, Lericia Richards, Elizabeth Olive, Katelyn Olive and Michael Olive and nieces and nephews. A celebration of life meal will be held at Margaret's residence after the funeral.
