James Allen Nichols, 50, passed away February 14th 2026 at Hospice House in Hutchinson KS.

James was born July 14th 1975 in Hutchinson KS to Virginia Woods and Jimmie O. Nichols Sr.. James graduated from Hutchinson Highschool in 1994.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Woods and Jimmie O. Nichols Sr., his grandson, Christian Ray, and two brothers.

James is survived by his wife, Crystal Nichols, daughters, Leslie Nichols (Treston Dalrymple), Stephanie (Kyle) Standridge, son, Jonathan Nichols, 10 siblings, and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and memorial service has been established with Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas 67501, on February 24th 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Flower donations can be sent to Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home.
