Obituary
James Otis VanHoose, 68, passed away February 1, 2019 at Hospice House of Reno County, Kansas. The son of Clyde and Ogalee VanHoose, he was born in Happy, Kentucky on February 20, 1950. He worked as a general laborer specializing in lawn care and landscape.
He was an avid card player and enjoyed a good game of pool. Often times he would sit watch his favorite television shows and spend time with his friends and family.
He married Vickie Ledgerwood on February 12, 2001. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include 1 brother, L. C. VanHoose; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Cremation has taken place per his request. Memorial gifts may be made to James O. VanHoose Family Memorial Fund and left in care of Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas.
