Janet Louise Ellsworth, 76, gained her heavenly wings July 19, 2018 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born in Blue Springs, Nebraska on March 4, 1942, the daughter of Richard and Sophia Forke. She was a retired LPN after many years of serving residents at Wesley Towers in Hutchinson, Kansas.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing bingo, swimming at the YMCA, and numerous outdoor adventures.
She married Larry Ellsworth, Sr. in 1983 in Newton, Kansas and enjoyed traveling all over the world together.
Survivors include 3 sons, Mark (Debbie) Bley, Larry (Kelly) Ellsworth, Jr, Chad Ellsworth; 3 daughters, JuliAnna Zimmerman, Diana Hayworth, and Dellors Clay; 3 sisters, Barbara (James) Witcofski, Susan (Wayne) Spellman, Peggy (Robert) Davis; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and her two beloved Yorkies. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A gathering for friends will take place Monday, July 23, 2018 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. A graveside celebration of life will follow at 2:00 pm at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Hospice House of Reno County and left in care of the funeral home.
