Janis Kay Gnagy, passed away March 28, 2021 at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community, Buhler, Kansas.  Janis was born in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Ray and Morrell ( Brown)  Gnagy on November 6, 1935 she was a lifetime resident of Hutchinson.  Because of her near-deaf handicap, special schooling was necessary.  She was always reliable and a hard worker,her career was mostly in housekeeping.

Survivors include her brother, Jon Gnagy.

At one time, she had a number of very dear handicapped friends who all preceded her.

She will be missed dearly by friends and family.   The family would like to express their gratitude to the exceptional care provided by Sunshine Meadows.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 6 from 1:00- 5:00 p.m.  Graveside service will be held at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson, Kansas on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
