Jeffery Jason Tipton, 44, passed away in Grants Pass, Oregon on July 15, 2018. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on November 16, 1973, the son of Danny Ray Tipton and Joleen Kay Wingert.
A graduate of Larned High School, he worked as a handyman. He loved the outdoors, particularly playing disc Frisbee with friends and walking his dog, Bruiser. He never met a stranger and would help anyone that needed assistance.
He is survived by mother, Joleen (Hipolito) Wingert of Hutchinson, Kansas; 2 daughters, Brianna (Nelson) Escobar of Hutchinson, Kansas, Nattallie (Austin) Tipon of Hutchinson, Kansas; 3 sisters, Christie (Jerry) Tipton, Amy Allen, Gail White; 8 grandchildren, Tristen, Ava, Joslyn, Layla, Enrique, Sybil, Mateo, Caspian. He was preceded in death by his father.
Per his request cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Reno County Animal Shelter and left in care of the funeral home.
