Jesse E. Cox, 91, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at Hospice House of Hutchinson, Kansas.  He was born December 20, 1929 in Kanopolis, Kansas to Jesse and Furilla ( Hare) Cox.  He served in the United States Air Force and Army National Guard.  On January 20, 1951 he married Shirley Haas.  Jesse and Shirley were married for 70 years.

Jesse is survived by his wife Shirley, Son Steven ( Linda), daughters Pamela (William) Colvin, Susan Willis, and Lois Debozy ( Matt Maier).  Grandchildren Shawn, Jason, Bryan, Jesse, and Cody, 15 great grandchildren, and brother-in-law Law Eugene Haas.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters, 3 brothers, grandson Aaron Cox, and granddaughter Kelsey Debozy.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Graveside service will be held at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd, Hutchinson, Kansas, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice House of Hutchinson in care of Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home.
