Sister Jimmie Raelene " Cricket" Weathers of Hutchinson, went into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, September 13, 2019.  She was born on May 29, 1956, to Jimmie McCurtis and Bertha Lynette Fuller McCurtis.

A graduate of Hutchinson High School, she moved to Los Angeles, California in the 1970's.  She lived there until her return to Hutchinson.  Raelene was a CNA, loved her job, and was proficient in it.

In 1974 she married Harold Raymond Faust, Jr.  He preceded her in death on April 23, 2013.

Survivors include; two sons, Derrick Vernon McCurtis, Demetrius Terrell McCurtis; three daughters, Dedra Lynette Faust, Denisha Wetona Faust, Dalonda Renay Ikhimopka; five sisters, Wetona Jean Tolson, Dellis Lee ( Pastor Leroy ) Neal, Donna Lynn Cachere,  Carmon Roberts, Cynthia (Ron ) Hicks; brothers, Kirk ( Exevia ) Roberts, Jeffrey ( Katherine ) Roberts,  Kenneth ( Dodie ) Roberts; eight grandchildren, Jaidien Eithaniel Faizon
Faust, Zuhra Yassmen Pathan, Saifullah Ilyas Mohammed, JaiVauntaien Alexzander Faust, JaiVaunni Isaac Orelando Williams, JaiQuarrian Treyzaun Marquez, Jaizheim Emmanuel Montejano, Jainessiah Olivia Montejano; her uncle, Reverend Luther McCurtis of Ventura, California; her matriarch cousin, Stanley Murdock; many nieces and nephews; and her good buddy family dog, Jack Ryan Faust.  She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles, and several cousins.

Memorial service will be held Friday, September 20, 2019, at 2 p.m. at New Resurrection Church, 500 W. Avenue A, Hutchinson, Kansas, with Pastor Leroy Neal officiating.  Private family interment will take place Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at 12 p.m. at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, Kansas.
