John Marlow Harvey, 47, passed away surrounded by his family on February 15, 2019 at his home in Hutchinson, Kansas. Born in Texas on November 9, 1971, he was the son of Ronald, Sr. and Ivonna Harvey. He worked as a utility loading technician.

He was an avid motorcycle rider, and was a master fisherman. He loved family time at the family farm and was always the head chef of bar-b-ques for his family and friends.

In 1995, John and Lesa Ward partnered together to build a strong family. In 2009 John and Lesa were officially married as part of a dual wedding with his brother Steven and his wife, Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Lesa; his mother, Ivonna; 2 sons, Jonathan and Andrew; 3 daughters, Corissa, JaNay and Brianna; 3 brothers, Ronald, Jr., Timmy and Levi; 2 sisters, Becky and Ardinea; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, and 1 brother, Steven.

A gathering for friends and family will be held Monday, February 25, 2019 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home.
