Obituary
Johnny Dwayne Kappel, 49, passed away at his home in Hutchinson, Kansas on November 16, 2016. The son of Fredrick and Joan Kappel, he was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on July 13, 1967. He was a driver for Durham Bus Service serving Unified School District 308.
He was an avid bowler, loved to go to casino''s, spent as much time as possible fishing. He loved singing Karaoke, and knew every word to his favorite musical, "Grease."
On August 5, 2004 he married Jacinda Lee Tripp in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Joan and stepfather, Richard; 4 sons, Channing, Brody, Jacob, John; 5 daughters, Brittany, Brittany T., Kayla, Christen, Katie; 1 brother, Shannon; 1 step-brother Mark; 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, 1 sister, Corrina, grandparents, 2 uncles, and, 2 aunts.
A graveside celebration of life will take place Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Fairlawn Burial Park with LuAnne Haddaway presiding. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home.
