Jonathan Wayne Weve, 59, passed away on January 3, 2022 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.  He was born on December 28, 1962 to John and Joene ( Beagley ) Weve.  Jon was a graduate of Haven High School.  He was employed by the City of Hutchinson,  since 1993 as a heavy equipment operator.  Jon enjoyed fishing and working on vehicles.  He married Lori Holder on July 27, 1984.  They had two sons, Nicholas and lance.  Even though they divorced, they remained friends.

Jon was preceded in death by his son Nicholas, brother Joshua, and parents John and Joene.

He is survived by his son, Lance Weve; brothers Jeffrey ( Christy) Weve and Jerome ( Tonya) Weve; sister Tammy ( Dale ) Lies.

Cremation will take place.  A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
