Juanita Louise Lanham, 82, passed away December 1, 2016 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas. Born in Hoisington, Kansas on September 7, 1934, she was the daughter of Alva and Maggie Marshall.
She was skilled in woodcarving, stain glass and etching work, arts, crafts and ceramics. She also loved listening to traditional country music. A dedicated homemaker, taking care of her family meant the most to her.
She married James Ruthford Lanham on February 18, 1961 in Hutchinson, Kansas. He survives. Other survivors include 3 daughters, Lynnita Ann Harris, Carolyn Jo Harris, and, Lisa May (Cy) Cokeley; 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and, 7 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter, Cynthia Kay Smith, 1 granddaughter, Heather Cornick, 5 brothers, and, 2 sisters.
Per her request cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life has been held. The family has established a memorial to Hospice House of Reno County. Gifts may be left in care of Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas.
