Karen Elaine Rogers (Smith)'s Obituary
Karen E. Rogers, 62, passed away February 6, 2016 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas. A native of Hutchinson, she was born March 26, 1953, the daughter of Chester Smith and Millie Hoskinson. She was a retired machinist for Cessna.
She had a deep affection for animals, and was a volunteer at the Reno County Animal Shelter.
Survivors include her mother, 1 brother, Dan (Vickie) Smith; 4 sisters Marilyn (Nando) Zubia, Sherri (Mike) Harmon, Shawna (Ken) DeGraffenried, Jodi (Jeff) DeGraffenried; her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.
Private family celebration will be held at a later date, however, the family has established a memorial fund and gifts may be made to the Reno County Animal Shelter and left in care of the funeral home.
Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
