Kari Dawn Gilley, 47, passed away May 11, 2015 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born December 28, 1967 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Richard and Janet Rogers.

A dedicated employee of the Hutchinson Wal-Mart for over 10 years, she also worked part time for Goodwill Industries in Hutchinson. She loved shopping, the latest in country music, taking in the nature of the outdoors, and, her dog, Molly.

She is survived by her parents; 2 daughters, Lacey and Heather Hillhouse, both of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, 1 brother, Ryan Masterson of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; 1 sister, Jill (Derek) Masterson Douthit of Wyandotte, Oklahoma.

A gathering for friends will be Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. A celebration of life will take place Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the celebration. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Wal-Mart Scholarship program and left in care of the funeral home.
