Kenneth Allen Thompson, Jr., 24, earned his angel wings on June 24 2017 in Hutchinson, Kansas. Born in Hutchinson, Kansas on July 1, 1992, he was the son of Kenneth and Shelia Thompson.

An avid football fan he walked and talked Pittsburgh Steelers football. Taking care of his family was the most important thing to him. He was a loving son, brother, and friend to so many.

He is survived by his parents; a son, Zayne; a companion, Natalie; 1 sister, Vanetta; great grandmother, Bobbie Flenoid; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering for family and friends will be Monday, July 3, 2017 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm with the family present from 5:00 -7:00 pm at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family has established a memorial funds and gifts may be made to Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home.
