Kevin Leroy McAllister, 68, passed away on March 17, 2021.  On October 11, 1952, Kevin was born to Pete and Florence McAllister in Hutchinson, Kansas.  Kevin was a dedicated BNSF Railroad worker for over 25 years.  Kevin was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.  He loved riding his horse and loved to participate in parades with his best friend Cowboy Mike.  There was never a stranger in Kevin's life, only new friends to share a beer with.  The most important thing to Kevin was watching his kids and grandkids grow up.  If you saw his cowboy hat and his scarf, you knew who he was.

Survivors include:  his sons, Jason (Reyna) McAllister and Shane (Samantha) McAllister; long time best friend, Kathy McAllister; his sisters, Colette (John) Tompkins, Leigh Gonzales, and Paula Greenwood; his grandchildren, Katie, Tiera, Jade, Raven, Gabe, Michael, McKinnley, Noah, Ashton, Brooklynn, and Maya; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Florence; his daughter, Jessica; and his brothers, Rodney and Lyle.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1pm, May 1, 2021 at Wildmead Cemetery in Nickerson, KS.
