Kimberly Dawn Barnes, known fondly as Kim or Kimber, passed away on January 2, 2025, in Hutchinson, Kansas, at the age of 57.

She shared a lifelong partnership with Calvin Terry, with whom she raised her daughter, Krystall Dawn Barnes-Terry. Kim is also survived by her eldest daughter, Darrien-Audrey Siever-Gutierrez, and her four beloved grandchildren: Jaxon Siever, Owen Siever, Mila Gutierrez, and Benni Gutierrez. She was preceded in death by her parents, LaVerne Barnes and Nancy Livengood.

Kim's life was marked by both joys and struggles. She faced challenges with mental health and addiction, but she was also a woman of resilience, humor, and creativity. She loved deeply in her own way, and her family remembers her spirit, her laughter, and the moments of connection she shared.

She will be remembered not only for the battles she fought, but for the love she carried for her children and grandchildren, and for the unique light she brought to those who knew her.

A private memorial will be held by her family at a later date.
