Leonard Otto Zahn, "Pappy, Pops and Santa" was born in Bazine, Ks. On November 30, 1934. He passed away in Hutchinson, Ks. On January 2, 2013. He was united with his father, Otto Leonard Zahn; mother, Ruth Elizabeth Kilpatrick Zahn; sisters, Edith Zahn, Agnes Zahn, Louise Strecker, Donna Zahn, Dorothy Zahn; and brothers, Emanuel Zahn, Robert Zahn, Dwayne Zahn, Donald Zahn, Dean Zahn and Freddie Zahn. He is survived by three siblings, Bessie Mae King, Raymond Zahn and Jeanie Hazuka. His wife, Kaylene Zahn; his six children, Leonard Ray Zahn (Janice), Brenda Ray (Buddy), Kevin Zahn, Melvin Zahn (Mable), Janice Dawson (Joel) and Stacy Zahn (Rene), 18 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild await the day they will be with Leonard again. You are greatly missed husband, brother, father and grandpa.

Memorial service will be Monday, January 7, 2013 at Believers Tabernacle Church, Hutchinson, Ks. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to Noon at the funeral home on Monday morning as well. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to Hospice House of Reno County and left in care of the funeral home.
