Obituary

Linda Kay Ward Freeman, 70, was received into the hands of God, Sunday, September 14, 2014 in Venus, Texas. She was born August 15, 1944 in Pampa, Texas, the daughter Orville and Francis Allen.

She served as a Sunday school teacher and was a member of the church bus ministry. She enjoyed making Christmas crafts, going to garage sales and spending time working in her yard. She has the heart of a servant and her kind, loving ways will be missed by all she knew.

Survivors include her husband, Oren; 1 son Norman Ward (Diane), 1 daughter, Jennifer Eggers (James); 2 step-sons, Albert Freeman, Tom Freeman (Betty): 1 step-daughter, Trina Freeman; 4 sisters, Kathy Miller (Mike), Connie Mebane (Jimmy), Kerri Brooks (Lynn), Kenny Moyer (Joe); 18 grandchildren, and, 1 great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

Public visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 pm with memorial service at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1028 E. 16th Avenue, Hutchinson, Kansas. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park.
