Linda Kay Hinojos, 58, passed away November 2, 2013 at Hutchinson Regional
Medical Center. The daughter of Carl and Lois Guern, she was born August 13,
1955 in Sioux City, Iowa.
"Bubbles," as she was known to family and friends, attended Hutchinson Public
Schools and also attended Salt City Business College. She worked for Don's
Floral where she greeted everyone with a warm smile and a gracious hello. She
had a large collection of Barbie dolls, loved to crochet, play bingo, and drink
frappachinos as she attended to her scratch off tickets.
She is survived by 2 sons, Eugene W. Ryan, Dennis M. (Terenda), 2 brothers,
Robert Guern and Jeffrey Guern, a half sister, Ruth Stroud, 1 granddaughter,
Latashia, 1 great grandson, Michael, 1 nephew, Ross, 1 niece, Andrea. She was
preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Brenda, 1 brother, Rodney, and, 2
nephews, Chris and Miguel.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm with the family
present from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. At Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N.
Main, Hutchinson, Ks, Graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 6,
2013 at 10:30 AM at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers
the family has established a memorial to the Reno County Animal Shelter and
may be left in care of the funeral home.
