Linda Lorene Williams, 71, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas on November 18, 2020.  A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, she was born on December 14, 1948, the daughter of Ellsworth and Lorene Philbrick.  She was a retired cosmetologist.

She loved any kind of arts and crafts project, painting, woodcarving, and was a master quilter.  Her family knew her as a fantastic cook - she could prepare and cook anything for her family.  She loved to read and listen to traditional country music.

On April 9, 1966, she married Stan Williams in Hutchinson, Kansas.  He preceded her in death on July 6, 2006.

Survivors include her brother, Arley (Rhonda) Philbrick of Hutchinson, Kansas; sisters in law, Sue Philbrick of Wichita, Kansas, and Ester ( John) Andrews of Denton, Texas;  brothers in law, Roscoe ( Shirley) Williams of Hutchinson, Kansas, and David Williams of Lincoln, Nebraska; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Pete Philbrick.

Per her request, cremation has taken place.

There will be a graveside service at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd, Hutchinson, KS 67501, on March 26, 2021 at 1:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Cancer Council of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas and left in care of Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas.
