Lora Beth Long-Stratton, 29, of Hutchinson, Kansas, earned her heavenly wings and is dancing gracefully with the angels.  Lora was welcomed into the world by her loving parents, Michael Franklin and Stacey Martens on September 6, 1989, in Hutchinson, Kansas.

A life long resident of Hutchinson, Kansas, she attended school in the USD#308 school district.  She had a passion for music- she always said 'Music is Life!'  There wasn't a song on her playlist that didn't mean something personal to her.  Lora also had a huge heart and always extended her hand to help anyone in need.

On December 14, 2016, Lora and Alex Stratton exchanged wedding vows in an intimate ceremony in Dodge City, Kansas.

Survivors include: her husband, Alex; parents, Michael Franklin and Stacey M. Martens and stepfather Allen Martens; mother and father in law, Pamela and Mark Kerschen; two sons, Jesse and Matthew Parker; one daughter, Mia A. Mehl; two brothers, Danny Long, Jr., and Collin Martens; one sister, Allena Martens; and her best friend, Amber Collins.  She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Parker, and her step-father, Mark Britain.

Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
