Lowell Roland Torres, 68, passed away November 19, 2014 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born December 14, 1945 in Houston, Texas, the son of Norman and Almeda Casanover. He was owner of his own auto parts store in Houston, Texas.

After graduating from high school he volunteered and entered the United States Army. He was an avid fisherman, and also enjoyed home remodeling in his spare time. He loved finding new and better ways to fix and repair just about anything he could get his hands on.

He married Martha Wilson in 1992 in Dennison, Texas, and they returned to Hutchinson in 2001. She preceded him in death on March 13, 2013. Other survivors include 2 step-daughters Nondas Steele of Hutchinson, and, Charlotte Samuels of Duncan, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, and, grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-daughter, Candy Wilson, and a step-son, Roy Wilson.

Per his request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
