Lula " Darlene " Wesley, 62, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 6, 2021. She was born on July 5, 1958 to Billy E. and Rachel I. Graves, in Corydon, Indiana.
Her family moved to Hutchinson, Kansas when she was a small child and she remained a lifetime resident until her home going.
Darlene was a delivery driver for The Hutchinson News for over 26 years. She was very meticulous about how she wanted the papers delivered. She provided exceptional service to her customers.
On February 14, 1985 she married James Wesley of Hutchinson, Kansas, he survives. Other survivors include; son, Timothy ( Clara) Wesley, Sheboygan, Wisconsin; brothers, Billy Graves, Redmond, Oregon, Steven ( Cheryl) Graves, Sterling, Nebraska; sisters, Connie ( Mike) Stewart, Moundridge, Kansas, Janetta ( Don) White, and Debbie ( Jeff) Walker, both of Hutchinson, Kansas. Survivors also include; thirteen grandchildren, Dominic, Lilia, Eric, Rigo ( Jackie), Crespin, Temo, Aleyda, Allie, Lalo, Blanca, Ashlyn and Melina; one great-grandson, Esiah; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Rachel Graves and granddaughter Marina.
A celebration of life will be on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Victorious Life Church, 1200 East Tenth Avenue, Hutchinson, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas.
