Mammie Lue Tardy was born August 28, 1966, in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She passed May 3, 2024 at her home in Newton, Kansas.
She is survived by her sisters, Shirley Lynn Tardy-Saunders, Sheila (Brian) Gamblain-Weber, three nieces and several cousins.
Her father was Charlie Lee Tardy, her mother was Luteaner "Tina" Tardy, who passed before her.
Mammie had no children, however, she was an awesome aunt to her nieces. She was a retired nurse, working in Geriatrics and NICU nursing in the 80's and 90's. She loved reading. She loved God. She loved her Church and her family. Mammie used to volunteer at the senior center in Newton, KS. She sang daily, worshipping God.

There will be a visitation Thursday, May 16th from 6:00-8:00pm at Old Mission Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS. Mammie will be laid to rest with a graveside service Saturday, May 18 at 11:00am, at Fairlawn Burial Park in Hutchinson.
