Maria Torres Mendoza, 89, beloved mother, wife, and grandmother, went to be with the Lord, June 13, 2015. She was born on May 31, 1926 in Praxedis Guerrero, Mexico.

She is survived by one son, Francisco Mendoza, 5 daughters, Celia Mendoza, Rosa Loya, Elena Mendoza, Martha Ruiz, and Laura Portillo, 34 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Guadalupe Mendoza, a son Javier Mendoza, three daughters, Lydia Duran, Raquel Pena, and Elva Sanchez, and 3 grandchildren.

A gathering for friends and family will be Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle Church, 1319 E. 17th, Hutchinson, Kansas with a celebration of life at the church at 1:00 PM with Pastor Nathan Karriker presiding. Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery.
