Mark W. Brandt, 51, passed away May 13, 2018 at Smoky Hill Rehabilitation in Salina, Kansas. Mark was born Jan. 10, 1967 to Marnita and the late James Brandt and Step-Dad Marshall Johnson.
Mark enjoyed going to Cross Road Church in Salina, Kansas. He loved life and made friends easily, his sense of humor affected everyone he met. He was a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Mark also enjoyed hunting and fishing. His greatest joy was his family and playing with his children.
Mark proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1985 - 1992.
Mark is preceded in death by his father, James Brandt, a sister Mary Johnson, a brother James Brandt. He is survived by his Life Companion, Jennifer Bender of the home. He is also survived by his children, Kyndra and Abigail Brandt of the home, Garriden Brandt of Fall City, Nebraska, Evan and Emily Brandt, Beloit Kansas, his mother Marnita Johnson, Erie Pennsylvania, brother Michael Johnson, sister Donna Brandt, Jacksonville Florida. mark is also survived by many other family memebers and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. June 2, 2018 at Crossroads Church in Salina, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts can be made to the Mark Brandt Memorial Fund and left in care of Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main, Hutchinson, Kansas, 67501
