Obituary

Marlene A. (Molly) Baker, 76, passed away May 19, 2017 at Good Samaritan Village, Hutchinson, Kansas. The daughter of Andrew and Myrtl Kubera, she was born October 26, 1940 in Thorp, Wisconsin. She was a dedicated wife and mother.

She loved to quilt, bake and decorate cakes. She loved to sing with her husband, and took time to become an accomplished artist, specializing in chalk artwork.

On January 5, 1962 she married the love of her life, Duane L. Baker in Medford, Wisconsin. He survives.

Other survivors include 1 son, Carl (Karen) Baker; 2 daughters, Charlene (Randy) Porter, and, Deana (Allan) Linscheid; and, 3 grandchildren, Brian, Travis, Krista, and, 1 great grandson, Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Good Samaritan Village Chapel, 810 E. 30th, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Good Samaritan Village, Hutchinson, Kansas and may be left in care of Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas.
