Marsha M. (King) Tallant, 62, passed away March 4, 2017 at her home in Pretty Prairie, Kansas, with her beloved husband, Michael, by her side. The daughter of Kenneth, Sr. and Carroll King, she was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on March 12, 1954.

Her family was her life, taking care of them and taking care of friends meant more to her than anything in the world. She could light up a room with her gift of conversation and making people feel at ease.

She and Michael were married in Hutchinson, Kansas on March 27, 1982. He survives of the home, and her two dogs, Pebbles Boo-Boo and Gracee.

Other survivors include 2 brothers, Kenneth King, Jr., and, Carl (Karel) King; 5 sisters, Ellen (John) Leth-Nissen, Karen Curtis, Debra Smethers, Cheryl (Michael) Hemphill, Janice Butcher; several half brothers and half sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Loren and Walter.

Per her request cremation has taken place. A private inurnment will take place at a later date. A memorial has been established in Marsha''s name and gifts may be made to Kindred Hospice or the American Cancer Society and left in care of the funeral home
