Marsha S. Wiard, 69, passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS on September 14th, 2026. She was born in Sterling, KS on December 2, 1956 to Leslie and Patsy Carris.

Marsha attended Butler High School and later graduated with her GED. On December 11th, 1996, Marsha was united in marriage to husband Charles Herman William Wiard (Bill), sharing nearly 42 years together. She loved spending time in the kitchen, and was always making sure everyone had plenty to eat. Whether she was cooking for family or making her famous peanut butter pie. Marsha especially loved spending time with her family. Her granddaughter brought her great joy and she treasured the time spent with her. She was a devoted mother who enjoyed attending
and supporting her sons in all of their activities.

Marsha is survived by her husband, Bill; sons, Nate Peters and wife Megan of South Hutchinson, and Shawn Peters of Hutchinson; grandchild- Breckan Peters of Hutchinson.

She is preceded in death by her mother Patsy Carris, father Leslie Carris, brother Gene Klaassen, sister Carol Pine and grandson Mason Peters.
