Martha Janeth Ewing Urbina, 55, passed away in Hutchinson, KS, at the Hospice House, August 16, 2022. She was born in Bogota, Colombia, September 15, 1966 to Luis Briceno and Maria Edilma Urbina. Martha loved her jobs, bowling, animals, shopping, swimming, eating desserts and colombian food and watching colombian t.v. shows. She liked to help her family and friends and loved her children, grandchildren and her husband very much. Martha was a very dedicated, organized and best human being, mother, daughter and always worried about her mother. She is survived by her mother, Maria Edilma Urbina; son, Luis (Emily) Ewing; daughter, Paola (David Peňafiel) Garzon Urbina; brothers, Alfonso Briceňo, Alberto Briceňo, Emilio Briceňo and Juan Morales; sisters, Claudia Riaňo Urbina, Fanny Briceňo and Hilda Colmenares; grandchildren, Mariana Peňafiel, Nicole Peňafiel and Hannah Peňafiel; niece, Diana Bastidas;nephews, Juan D. Bastidas, Diego Bastidas and Daniel Bastidas and her first love Juan Carlos Garzon. Martha is preceded in death by her father, Luis Briceňo; husband, Ed Earl Ewing; sisters, Gladys Morales, Cecilia Morales and Virginia Morales and her two pets, Gino I and Gino II. She will be missed and cherished in our hearts forever.
