Martie Ann Black, 57, of Haven, Kansas, passed away December 3, 2019 at her home in Haven, Kansas.  The daughter of Thomas and Betty Hart, she was born in Liberal, Kansas on February 22, 1962.  She had served as a licensed insurance agent for over 20 years.

Her family and friends was everything to Martie, whether it was flying kites with her grandkids, watching football games with friends, or shooting fireworks on her favorite holiday, July 4th, her family and friends were the center piece of Martie's life.

She is survived by 2 sons, Jamie and Shawn; mother, Betty Alexander, step father, Don Alexander; 3 sisters, Rhonda Hart, Jody Bryant, LaNell Walker; 2 brothers, David Blevins, and Jack Blevins; 4 grandchildren, Cody Black, NayElli Black, Aspyn Black, and Mickenzie Joe Black; numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, her grandparents, and a nephew.

A come and go gathering for family and friends will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home.
