Mary Ann Taylor, 63, passed away April 2, 2016 at Hutchinson Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hutchinson, Kansas. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, she was born January 14, 1953, the daughter of James and Hattie Mae Taylor. She was employed by Cessna/Eaton Corporation as a machinist.

A 1971 graduate of Hutchinson High School, she also obtained her Associates degree from Hutchinson Community College. She was a member of the Cessna Machinist Union and loved dancing to the rhythm and blues.

She is survived by two sons, Eric and Derrick Taylor; 3 brothers, Leonard, Leeroy, and Richard Taylor; 2 sisters Louise Massey, and, Irene Daniels; 3 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, 2 brothers, and 1 daughter.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 1008 N. Ford St., Hutchinson, Kansas with Pastor Vincent Mitchell presiding. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established and gifts may be made to the Second Missionary Baptist Church and left in care of the church.
