Elaine Sieg, 83, passed away August 10, 2013 at Good Samaritan Rehabilitation Center, in Hutchinson, Ks. She was born July 21, 1930 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Carl and Eudora Lindahl.

A graduate of Marquette High School, she completed nursing school at Bethany Nursing Center in Kansas City, Kansas, and worked as a registered nurse. In addition to her professional career she was a devoted wife and mother, marrying David L. Sieg on June 20, 1952. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, Kevin Lee Sieg of Hutchinson; one daughter, Diane Sieg Marshall ( Dean), also of Hutchinson; 3 grandchildren, Daniel Marshall, Zachary Sieg, Alex Sieg and 2 great-grandsons, Phillip and Paul Sieg; 1 step great-grandson, Arthur Potucek. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Dennis.

There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place. A public celebration will be announced at a later date. However, the family has asked that any memorial contributions be made to the M. Elaine Sieg Family Memorial Fund and left in care of Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Ks.
