Maxine J. Davis, 74, passed away March 10, 2016 at her home in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of LeRoy and Edna Davis. She was a retired housekeeper for area wide hotels and motels.

When she wasn't working or caring for her family, she enjoyed playing bingo, listening and dancing to the blues. Her family was her main focus in life.

She is survived by 5 sons, Curtis, David, Shawn, LaRoy, Sr, and Joe Tiniakos; 2 daughters, Donna and Esther Davis; 1 brother, Tracy Davis; 1 sister, Joyce Henderson; 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, LeRoy, Jr. and Walter, 1 sister, Carol, and 1 grandson, Dustin.

A gathering for friends and family will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 from 10:30 am to noon, with a time of remembrance at 11 am at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. A meal for guests will be held afterwards at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 1015 E. 7th Street, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Maxine J. Davis Family Memorial Fund and left in care of the funeral home.
