Michael "Mikey" Don Martin, 48, passed away August 25, 2016 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. The son of Charles and Karen Martin, he was born January 10, 1968 in Hutchinson, Kansas.

He was a huge Kansas State football fan, had a working fascination for electronic gadgets, enjoyed building BMX motorcars, and had passion for Mickey Mouse. He loved his family dearly.

Survivors include his mother and step father, Jerold Snyder; 2 brothers, Charles and Jay Martin, both of Hutchinson, Kansas; 1 sister, Pamela (Victor) Alvarez of Hutchinson, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father, and, an infant brother, Roy.

Per his request cremation has taken place. A gathering for friends and family will be he held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers the family has established the Michael "Mikey" Don Martin family memorial fund and gifts may be left in care of the funeral home.
