Michael O. "Scooter" Thompson passed away March 2, 2012 at his home. He was born on June 24, 1952 to Robert Roy Thompson and Betty Fuller Thompson.Scooter was a self-employed roofer with Done Rite Roofing. He loved to go fishing, cook for his family and listen to music.He is survived by his wife, Shirlinda; sons, Michael, Titus, DeJesus; daughter, Audrey, two step-children; brothers, Robert, SIdney, Leland, Steven; sister, Stanley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Cookie Thompson. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, March 8, 2012. Memorial services will be held Friday, March 9, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services Chapel, 528 N Main Street, Hutchinson.In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be sent to the Michael O. Thompson Family Memorial in care of the funeral home. Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
