Michael Juan Tillman passed away March 3, 2011, in Hutchinson, Kan., at the age of 59. He was born July 7, 1951, in Kansas City, Kan., to Rev. William Charles and Florence Davis Tillman.
He was a resident of Topeka, Kan. He was a truck driver and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his parents; daughters, Cathy Tillman of Wichita, Kan., Florence (Que) Harris of Brandon, Fla., and Irene (Mitchell) Abrons of Broadview, Ill.; son, Michael J. Tillman II of Kansas City, Kansas; and three grandchildren, Sarah, Sasha, and Sade Harris. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 8, 2011, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel. Burial will follow with military honors at Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson.
