Mildred Joan Davis, 82, passed away June 28, 2015 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas. A native of Hutchinson, Kansas, she was born March 27, 1933, the daughter of James and Geneva Cotton.

A graduate of Hutchinson High School, she worked various jobs in the food industry and also provided live-in care for the elderly. Her family was the love of her life and her passion was providing a loving home for them.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Betsy (James) Ledin; 1 son, William (Barbara) Davis; 1 sister, Darlene Weiss; 1 grandson, Matthew Ledin; 1 step-grand daughter, Barbara Damme; 1 great grandson, Wylen Ledin; and several step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 grandchildren.

A public gathering will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. A graveside celebration will be Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family has established a memorial fund and gifts may be made to Hospice of Reno County and left in care of the funeral home.
