Oren Richard Freeman, 76, passed away on November 22, 2020.  He was born on October 23, 1944 to Geuda Albert and Clara Almeda ( Marietta ) Freeman.  After high school, Oren was a dedicated man of the United States Navy, he worked as a NMCB for 20 years.  He was also a devoted man of the Riverside Baptist Church.  On June 22, 2019 Oren married Shirley Freeman to spend life with and love the rest of his days.

Oren was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Kay; and his sisters June and Shirley.

Survivors include: his wife Shirley Freeman; 1 brother, Omer Freeman; 2 sons, Albert Freeman and Tom ( Betty) Freeman; 2 stepsons, Norman (Diane) Ward and Randy (Jovita) Rhodes; 1 daughter, Trina Freeman; 4 stepdaughters, Jennifer (James) Eggers, Lisa White, Debbie ( Larry) Longwell, and Rhonda Symonds; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be a come and go on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas.

Graveside service will be Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson, Kansas.
