Pamella Sue Johnson
Pamella Sue Johnson, 55, passed away March 18, 2015 at her residence in Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born June 17, 1959 in Chanute, Kansas, the daughter of James and Lila Chaney. She was a homemaker.
She loved the outdoors, and, in particular, fishing of which she taught her husband and family the skill of the sport, and, Harley Davidson motorcycles. Her true love was her family.
In December 1993 she married David Johnson in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in December 2007.
Other survivors include 1 son, Jered Beck, Chanute, Kansas; 1 daughter, Jill (Gary) Klasen, Hutchinson, Kansas; 2 brothers, David (Teresa) Chaney of Garden City, Kansas; Donald (Jean) Chaney of Chanute, Kansas; 1 sister, Judy (Byron) Hoffman of Afton, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren, Peyton Beck, Matticyn Klasen, Ashlyn Klasen. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Public visitation will be Monday, March 23, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. A celebration of life will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial to Cancer Council of Reno County, Kansas. Gifts may be left in care of the funeral home.
