Pam's Song

An Angel once walked this life,
Her elegant heart as pure as her soul.
Her eyes like a rising sunset.
Her aura, a soft warm glow.
Her beauty shined from inside out.
Brighter than the moon.
Sweeter than a honeycomb,
Her smile lit the room.
She would go the extra mile,
To help a broken heart.
And through all her hard work,
No one saw her fall apart.
Though she no longer walks this life,
In our hearts she will remain.
To walk with us throughout our lives,
Until we meet again...

Pamla Renee Bell

On the 13th day of March 1967, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Ks, Pamla R. Bell began walking this earth and filling it with as much love as she possibly could.  On the 7th day of May 2020, at the age of 53, God called his physical form of love and beloved child home.

Pam grew up in Hutchinson, Ks.  Pam leaves behind her mother Linda G. Guerrero and stepfather Jamie Guerrero ( Guymon, Ok)  Her father Robert Hartenberger ( Hutchinson, Ks)  two sisters Lynette Kline her five children and spouse Tom (Otis, Ks) and Pattie Reed and two children ( Pretty Prairie, Ks)  She had one baby brother Aaron Hartenberger ( Phoenix, Az).  Pam was in the graduating class of 1985 at Hutchinson High School where she met her high school sweetheart Terry J. Casey ( Hutchinson, Ks).  Pam and Terry had one son Robert M. Casey and spouse ( Jamie) of ( Hutchinson, Ks).  Pam later married Charles L. Bell ( Haven, Ks) and had two children.  Son, Aaron C. Bell ( Hutchinson,Ks) and daughter Linda K. Simmons spouse ( Aj) two grandchildren Caydence and Raeleigh.  Pam later re-connected with the love of her life Terry, whom she spent the rest of her life with.  Pam also had countless aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews here on earth.  Pam was preceded in death by her aunts Kathy and Carolyn, grandma Vigneault, cousins Angie, Phillip and Rusty.  Pam showed love to countless people who were not her family.  Pam will forever be missed.  This world lost an amazing mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and cousin but, heaven gained one of its most beautiful angels.

From the family

Pam had many titles most take for granted.  Mom, Grandma, High school Sweetheart, Sister, Daughter, Aunt and Cousin were among the ones found most often in many families.  Without realizing it, Pam was known for being the most loving, caring, selfless Samaritan her family had ever known or seen.  Pam was known for fighting for the weak and protecting the scared.  Pam's most cherished role in life easily had to be " Grandma".  Her two granddaughters were the light of her life.  She would give anything to hear those two girls laugh, smile and play.  Caydence and Raeleigh said they will miss grandma's beautiful soul and how she was always there for the both of them and never let them down.  Grandma was beautiful inside and out, they said.  Grandma loved us and everyone with unexplainable love!

Pam's second most cherished moment was when she earned the rank of " MOM".  Pam was born with natural nurturing abilities and in November of 1987, December of 1989 and for a third time in February 1991 Pam became a mother.  Her children meant the world to her.  Pam's love spread far and wide, but her kids were her primary responsibility.  Her oldest son Bobby said that his mom accepted all his flaws as a son.  He considers himself to be a 'Mommas boy".  He said that as time went on, their relationship was not as close as it once was.  He said that if he could say one last thing to her it would be that he wishes he could have another dance on the dance floor with her.  " I love you Mom.  Worry less and let everyone up there watching with you know that this is what love is about".  Her second oldest, Aaron may have possibly been her favorite.  Per Bobby and Lindy, that is because he was low maintenance and wouldn't ever get any snide remarks from Aaron.  Aaron said that his mom put everyone ahead of herself.  She made sure everyone had food before she did, everyone had clean clothes before her.  What he will remember most from his mom is that she always found time to take care of Grandpa Bob and Grandma Casey and still had time to check on him.  Aaron said he will miss his mom more and more everyday.  Pam's youngest, her one and only daughter.  Even though Pam had ultimately been given a gift from God, she had also been given the same blessing her mom had been given when she was born.  Pam's sister Pattie has always said " God has an amazing sense of humor".  Lindy wanted to share that her mom was always there for her.  No matter the time of day or night, her momma came to the rescue.  Lindy said that Pam was the greatest grandma to her two baby girls.  They were her entire world.  Lindy said that she will always remember her mom singing the song " Baby Mine" from the movie Dumbo to help get the girls to sleep or to calm them when they were fussy.  " We love you momma, you are now in a better and more beautiful place", Lindy says.  All of Pam's kids wanted to share that they will miss her beautiful voice.  They will always remember when their mom would sing to classic country while cleaning the house and vacuuming.

Pam's role as " Sister" she honored almost as much as mom.  As her family said before, Pam was a natural born nurturer.  Pam had two sisters and one baby brother.  Both of Pam's sisters say that they will miss their sister very much.  Pattie said Pam and Angie will now be back together.  Pattie said those two were inseparable.  Her baby brother Aaron said that Pam loved her children so much.  Aaron wishes he could have gotten to see Pam in action with her grandbabies.  Aaron said that she was like a Mom to him too.  He said that she raised so many of us and cannot believe she is really gone.  Bobby said that he wanted to share something about his mom in being a " Sister".  Bobby said that he remembers his mom coming home one night from being at the bedside of her " Sister Cousin" Angie while she was ill.  Bobby said that he remembered her being in tears and he asked her, " why do you keep going to stay with Angie if it hurts you this much?"  Bobby said that before she answered she made him make a promise.  Bobby said he had to promise that no matter the circumstance, no matter the distance, no matter the reason he was asked to promise his mom that he would always be there for his brother and sister.  After he promised, Bobby said his mom answered his question.  Pam said that Angie was like a sister to her and everyone knew that.  Pam then followed by saying, all she wanted, was to take care of her sisters and baby brother.  When she felt that she could not, she felt that she failed them.  Bobby said his mom told him that she made a promise to God that no matter who, no matter the circumstance, no matter the distance, she would be there to take care of a loved one.  She did not want to break her promise.

As a daughter, Pam felt that it was her primary responsibility to make sure that her parents were always taken care of.  She worried about her mom in Oklahoma and her stepdad who had cancer.  She was always making sure that her dad Bob was always looked after.  Pam's mom shared that her sweet, selfless graceful daughter was taken to soon.  She said that she believes that Pam and Jesus had a conversation the night of her passing.  Linda feels that Jesus called her home so that she was able to be with the loved ones she has lost over the years including her sweet Angie.  Pam now has her hard-earned peace.  Gods eternal love, mercy and grace is waiting for all of us, when we all reunite.  Pam's father Bob says that she was his rock.  Bob said that if it were not for her, he would be lost.  He said that she made sure he had everything he needed.  Made sure his appointments were scheduled even though she did not need to.  Bob said that he saw the joy in her face every day just to sit in the same room with him.  Bob said that he prays that Pam knew just how grateful he was of her never-ending love.

Pam's " High school Sweetheart" was her first love.  Pam and Terry were inseparable.  Terry adored Pam's loving heart.  Terry shared that Pam was his friend, companion, his one and only love of his life.  He loved her for so much longer than she ever knew.  Terry was amazed at the love she gave for a person.  She never gave up on anyone.  She always put family and friends before herself.  Terry said that he was just happy that no matter what was going on, they showed love for one another before she was called home.  " I will always miss and love you until the end of time.  Like I always told you, Love you so much babe".

Cremation has taken place.  Arrangements for a celebration of life are pending and will be announced at a later date.
