Patricia L. Wingert, 94, passed away peacefully at home, July 6, 2023, in Nickerson, Kansas. She was born in Topeka, Kansas, May 17, 1929 to William Douglas and Pauline (Norton) Douglas. She was a life member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church. She married Donald May 8, 1950 in Oscalosa, KS. Patricia is survived by her sons, Michael E. (Debbie) Wingert of Fayetteville, AK and Scott (Brenda) Wingert of Nickerson, KS and 6 grandchildren, Benjamin Wingert of Nickerson, KS, Christopher Wingert of Valley Center, KS, Michael Wingert of Colorado Springs, CO, Jessica Darling of Fayetteville, AK, Susan Odell of Fredonia, KS and Kimberly Schultz of Fredonia, KS. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wingert; parents; son, Doug Wingert and brothers, Bob, Donald and Norton Douglas.
